 I haven’t wrapped a single gift for christmas

I haven’t even started shopping at all

I know it happens every year, till Christmas eve starts drawing near

And then I spend the whole month at the mall.

 

I haven’t wrapped a single gift for christmas

And I’m looking at the perfect thing online

But as I conclude my shopping spree, I check the date of delivery

And unless I break the bank on postage it won’t be here in time!

 

I keep saying that I’ll get my act together

And make the season easy paced.

But long as Halloween is one month from December

I’ll probably always figure I’ve got time to waste

 

I haven’t wrapped a single gift for christmas

I haven’t even written out a tag.

It’s the 25th at 1:00am, and I’ve run out of tape again

So I’m just throwing everything into one big ol’ bag.
