Last Monday was the shoot for my first music video! It’s set in a gigantic empty theater, and features “Meant To Be”, the opening song from my upcoming album. The day of filming turned out even better than I had hoped for, and I’m REALLY excited to post the finished video for everyone. The video won’t be finished until the recording of the song is mastered though, but in the meantime, we also shot a ton of making-of footage! The making-of video will certainly be up soon.

We arrived at the location about 9am. I had gotten about 2 hours of sleep the night before, because I had STILL been making preparations for the day at 4 in the morning…haha. The band arrived around 10, as we were still beginning to set up. It actually took quite a lot of time to really get everything set up, and we didn’t actually get to start filming until around noon.

Everything went as smooth as possible. We got absolutely every shot we possibly needed, and also had a lot of fun in the process! Actually, you’ll definitely see some of the fun we had when I post the making-of video haha. But the camera we shot it with was ridiculously awesome, and all the shots look great. It was just so much fun. I hope you’ll all enjoy it.
